yourprofilescan.com is run by Theos X Ltd, a company registered in Malta with company number C117139. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, LinkedIn.
About these terms
These terms apply when you order a scan on yourprofilescan.com. Please read them before you pay. You accept them by ticking the box on the payment page. The version that applies to your order is the one on this page at the time you ordered.
What you are buying
You are buying a one-off LinkedIn profile scan. A person on our team reviews your public LinkedIn profile and your last 30 posts, our system scores them against 28 checks, and we email you a link to your personal report. It is a single purchase, not a subscription.
Who can order
You must be at least 18 years old and entitled to use the payment method you pay with.
Price and payment
The price is shown on the page you order from and again on the secure Stripe payment page before you pay. It is the full price you pay. Some prices are only offered to particular groups, for example people who have signed up to our workshop series. The price that applies to your order is the one on the Stripe payment page.
Stripe takes the payment when you place your order, and Stripe’s own terms apply to the payment itself. We never see your card details.
If we find that the price we showed you was clearly wrong, we will contact you before we prepare your scan. You can then go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. If we cannot accept your order for any other reason, we will tell you and refund you in full.
When your report arrives
If you order before 17:00 UK time, your report arrives the next day. If you order at or after 17:00 UK time, it arrives the day after that. Weekends and bank holidays count as ordinary days. We show your delivery day before you pay and confirm it by email straight away.
We prepare a set number of scans each day, so each one gets a proper check. When a day is full we tell you the next available day before you pay, and you can decide whether to go ahead.
If your report is late
If your report does not arrive on the day we promised, we refund your payment in full and still send you your report.
Your profile
You may only order a scan of your own LinkedIn profile, and you confirm this when you give us your profile link. If your profile is private, cannot be found or does not appear to be yours, we will email you to sort it out. If we cannot resolve it within three days, we refund you in full.
Your right to cancel
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason. When you order, you ask us to start preparing your scan straight away, within that 14-day period. Once your report has been delivered, the service has been fully provided and you lose your right to cancel. If you cancel before your report is delivered, we refund you in full.
To cancel, email hello@yourprofilescan.com from the email address you paid with, or tell us that address in your message.
Refunds
We refund to the payment method you used, within 14 days of agreeing the refund. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under consumer law.
Your report
Your report is for your own use. You may share it with people who help you with your LinkedIn presence. You may not sell it, publish it, or copy or recreate our checks, scoring or report format, including by using AI tools to reword or rebuild them.
The scan, its scoring system, its checks and the format of the report are the intellectual property of Theos X Ltd. Buying a scan does not give you any rights in them.
What your report is, and is not
Your report gives recommendations based on our own methodology and on what is publicly visible on your profile when we review it. It is general guidance about LinkedIn, not legal, financial or other professional advice. LinkedIn and AI tools change how they work, and we cannot promise any particular result from following the recommendations.
What we are responsible for
If we do not keep to these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of that. Our total responsibility for your order is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not responsible for lost business, profits or opportunities.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or in any other case where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Other websites
Our website and your report link to LinkedIn and other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or for how they work.
How we contact each other
We will contact you by email at the address you gave when you ordered. You can reach us at hello@yourprofilescan.com. We deal with orders, questions and complaints in English.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. A change never affects an order you have already placed.
Other legal points
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. Your rights under these terms will not be affected.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else without our written agreement.
- If a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the rest stays in force.
- If we do not enforce one of our rights straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Only you and we have rights under these terms.
Complaints and the law that applies
If something is wrong, email hello@yourprofilescan.com and we will reply within two working days. We will always try to put things right with you directly first. These terms are governed by the law of Malta. If you live elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
