Who are you?
We are Julia Kotula and Dan Sherrard-Smith, co-founders of MotherTree. We built it on LinkedIn, then reviewed more than 1,000 profiles by hand and trained over 8,000 people on the platform. The scan is that experience, written down as 152 scoring rules and run on your profile by a person on our team.
Is this a subscription?
No. It is €99, once. You pay one time and you get one scan. Nothing renews.
What happens after I pay?
You get a confirmation email straight away with your delivery day. A person on our team then reviews your profile and your last 30 posts, scores them against all 28 checks, and your report lands in your inbox on that day.
When will my scan arrive?
The next day. Order before 17:00 UK time and it arrives the next day; order at or after 17:00 and it arrives the day after. Check your spam folder first, it comes from hello@yourprofilescan.com.
Do you need my LinkedIn login?
No. We never ask for your password and we never scrape your account. An expert on our team reviews your profile the same way any visitor would.
Do you scrape LinkedIn?
No. Everything is compiled by hand by a person on our team. No bots, no scrapers, no browser plugins. It is the reason the scan takes at least a day. The scoring engine behind it took us more than 1,000 hours to build, across 28 checks, 152 scoring rules and up to 800+ data points. And every one of those rules comes from what we learned personally training over 8,000 people to grow their brands and leads on LinkedIn.
Can I get a refund?
Your scan is generated specifically for you. Once your report has been delivered it cannot be returned or resold, so purchases are not eligible for a refund after delivery, except where the law requires otherwise.
Can I scan someone else's profile?
No. You can only scan a profile you own. You confirm this when you submit your URL.

Why we built the LinkedIn scan
We hit a £1 billion goal a year early. LinkedIn was the reason.
When we launched MotherTree, we set a bold goal: move £1 billion into the green economy within 3 years. Some people thought it was impossible.
We did it a year early. Not through ads or a sales team. We built our personal brands on LinkedIn, and the clients, partners, press and money came to us.
